I would like to thank you for the wonderful effort you put into the catering and handling of the SA Style Awards cocktail function last Saturday night. All our guests including film actress Lisa Barbuscia and her celebrity publicist as well as the MD of Virgin Atlantics London Office congratulated your innovative style and presentation.

It is such a pleasure for me to go about running my event, knowing that I have serious professional backup and efficiency. I look forward to working with you on several glam functions in the New Year.

The annual Melrose Arch Champagne Festival, now in its fourth year, is rushing up the league table of my favourite events. Now I’ve never hidden the fact that when I fancy a tipple, it’s usually a glass of French bubbly that’s in my sights. So what a treat to have 19 of the finest champagne houses to choose from at this festival, including magical names like Winston Churchill’s favourite Pol Roger, Billecart-Salmon, Perrier, Veuve Clicquot and Taittinger, making sure, of course, to take just a sip or two of each. No spitting out, of course!

One of the reasons this champagne-fest works so well is because utterly brilliant food is served. Genius caterer Vicky Crease fed us everything from Campbell’s Tomato soup € la Andy Warhol, gorgeous sushi, smoked salmon and yummy prawn cocktail to excellent cheeses and to-die-for doughnuts, not to mention those wonderful sweets that used to be called n****r balls, sparking a lively conversation about what their name is now.

Must mention the flowers, perhaps the best I’ve seen this year. They were large cubes and balls of gerberas, not always my favourite flowers, but gorgeous when massed as Franz Gräbe had done for this bash. GG

This is a HUGELY belated but none-the-less sincere note to say a big thank you to you and your team for your professionalism and attention to detail throughout the catering process for the DC launch.  The food was fantastic and drew many compliments from the guests, well done, not an easy job out of a marquee on a distribution centre apron!

Elle magazine's 10th birthday bash was hot, hip and happening and feeding the 1000 does not come easy or cheap - but caterer Vicky Crease cleverly wrapped quite inexpensive ingredients prettily. The flowers (pink roses and big leaves) were beautiful and the booze flowed.

I just wanted to drop you a line to thank you for the most outstanding function on Saturday night. Shanna and her team were fantastic.  I have never had a party catered – I have always done everything myself, including large numbers of people, only to sit there praying for everyone to go home because I was so exhausted.

This was definitely not the case here.  Shanna and the ladies moved into the kitchen, took over everything, and when they left, the kitchen was spotless.  My maid was wandering around at a loss – there wasn’t even anything for her to do.

Now to the food . . .  well, words fail me!  Each round of snacks was better than the last and the presentation was exquisite.  There were quite a few jaded palates at the party and everyone raved about both the snacks and the main course.  No skimping here!

I cannot praise your company, your kitchen staff, Shanna and your waiters highly enough.  They were professional, courteous, helpful and committed to ensuring that we enjoyed the party as much as the guests.

Oh and before I forget.  Something else that was truly special is that I know that relatively small functions are quite a hassle for the caterer.  Throughout the whole process of arranging beforehand, and the function itself, I was made to feel as if this was as important for you to please as for a huge function.  A big thank you from Kyle for making his 21st so memorable. Best party I have been to in a long time . . . if I say so myself!

I just want to say a big thank you to you and your team for the smooth running of the cocktail function this afternoon. The barmen were impeccable, they really did you proud. The food was magic, slow to start as always but as the afternoon wore in, they tucked in…

Your ladies were awesome, quick to respond, producing beautifully displayed eats and always with a smile… When it came to packing up, the waiters and barmen all got stuck in and in no time, everything was packed and ready to go!

The only comment that I can make on the event is that it exceeded my best expectations by far. A number of people who work in the building could not believe that we were in the same place. The Tiffany people of New York were blown away and they know about style. I would be happy to eat at any restaurant that had food that good. My fathers comment is that he doubts that anyone in the USA could do an event nearly as well.

This letter serves to confirm that we used Vicky Crease Caterers for the launch party of the new Top Billing Magazine on 11th of June 2004. This was rated as one of the top parties of the year and we can only say a huge “Thank You”! to the part Vickys’ team played in making it such a success. Not only was Vicky's food visually exciting and beautifully presented but it was absolutely delicious. The portions were filling and the food just never stopped coming throughout the entire event.

The party doubled in size a few days beforehand and Vicky took this completely in her stride. We can honestly say that the food she was serving at the end of the event was as delicious as that served at the beginning – quite a feat when you consider the length of time and the amount of people she was having to deal with. Vicky's service was totally professional at all times. Not only did she create an innovative menu and give us some brilliant ideas, we felt completely secure in the knowledge that she was going to rise to the occasion. Her staff were also totally professional and very pleasant to deal with.

We can only say that we are more than happy to recommend Vicky Crease to anyone – you can rest assured that you will be in the best hands possible!
